The Charities

WQS will be supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and providing educational assistance through the WQS Aboriginal Youth Scholarship program. We strongly encourage participants to donate at the various hole opportunities or directly to WQS. ALL proceeds raised will go directly to our chosen charities.

About Cystic Fibrosis Canada:

Cystic Fibrosis CanadaCystic Fibrosis Canada has 50 volunteer Chapters located across the country. Without the involvement of the dedicated Chapters, support would not be available to Canadians living with the devastating impacts of this disease. Chapter members raise funds for their community, promote public awareness for cystic fibrosis, and serve as a local resource to partners.

To learn more about Cystic Fibrosis Canada, please visit their website at: https://www.cysticfibrosis.ca/about-us/in-your-community

About the WQS Indigenous Youth Education Fund (Foundation):

As an Indigenous owned company, WQS celebrates the traditional roles that Elders play in the community.

“Indigenous culture is centered on Relationship or All My Relations is the foundation of all First Nations teaching and learning. The inclusion of Elders in the process can be described as the ‘heart’ of First Nations Pedagogy.”

(Taken from Here: https://firstnationspedagogy.ca/elders.html )

This belief is the focal point in what drives our responsibility to give back to the community. Founded in 2021, our pledge is to set aside 0.5% of WQS total revenue each year to support education programs. Support will be aimed at introducing, engaging, and educating youth in the local communities and developing their skills as NDE Technicians. In addition to funding, WQS will also offer job placement internships, recognizing the value it provides to students to exercise their skills and future professional development.

For further information on sponsorship levels and prize donations, feel free to reach out to our Sponsorship Coordinator, Scott Hubert at golftourney@wqsndt.com.

Every year at our golf tournament we provide team prizes and raffles. These opportunities are only made possible through the generous donations we receive from members of communities and corporate organizations. Any support will be greatly appreciated by WQS and our charitable organizations.

For more information or to arrange donations, please contact the Golf Tournament Donation Coordinator, Kayla Miller at: kmiller@wqsndt.com.
